Elisa Caroli

Elisa Caroli or Lois, illustrator and sometimes cartoonist, lives and works in Paris.
She co-founded the independent collective LÖK ZINE in 2011.
Her works range from illustrations for magazines to those for children. She worked for Casterman, Hachette, Les inrockuptibles, la Stampa, Pearson, L’école des loisirs. Her main inspirations are the elements of nature: flowers, plants and all that is vegetal are recurring elements of her imagination. Another constant in her work are the animals, the textures, the old fanzines and the passion for silkscreen printing.
